Simon Hammersley is an experienced professional in the field of optical studies and semiconductor research. Hammersley completed a PhD at the University of Manchester, focusing on Group III-Nitride Semiconductors, and served as a Post Doctoral Research Associate in the same area, as well as in developing optical sensors for agricultural applications. Hammersley subsequently held the position of Application Engineer at Porotech from March 2021 to September 2022, and currently works as a Display Product Engineer at Meta since September 2022. Hammersley holds a Master of Physics degree from the University of Manchester, obtained between 2003 and 2006.
