Steve Essinger

Steve Essinger is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and data science. Beginning as a Research Engineer at Honeywell Scanning & Mobility, Steve developed innovative electronic paper signage systems and patented a denoising circuit that enhanced barcode scanner performance. As a Graduate Research Fellow at EESI Laboratory, Steve focused on machine learning and interdisciplinary research. In subsequent roles at Nike, Steve held positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Director of Data Science, where leadership guided teams in developing personalized algorithmic solutions. At Pandora, Steve contributed to personalized music recommendation systems, enhancing user engagement significantly. Currently, as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta, Steve continues to apply expertise in AI and machine learning, further solidifying a robust career in technology and engineering. Steve earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Drexel University.
