Takahiro Doi

Takahiro (Taka) Doi, PhD, is a seasoned researcher specializing in human visual perception and computational neuroscience. From April 2009 to January 2011, Taka served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Osaka University, contributing to the development of novel perceptual metrics and publishing four research papers. Subsequently, Taka worked at the University of Pennsylvania from February 2011 to June 2017, initially as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on neuronal and behavioral data analysis, leading to significant publications and presentations, before advancing to the role of Research Associate, where Taka developed innovative psychophysical metrics. Since March 2022, Taka has been a Research Scientist at Meta, applying vision science to AR/VR technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams on product development.
