Tareq Abu-Rish

Tareq Abu-Rish has extensive experience in indirect tax with a career spanning over two decades. Tareq began the professional journey at Ernst & Young as an Indirect Tax Advisor from 2000 to 2002 and continued in the same capacity at EDF Energy from 2003 to 2005. Following that, Tareq served as VAT and Excise Manager at Tesco Stores Ltd from September 2005 to June 2009 before transitioning to Amazon, where Tareq held the position of Director, Global Indirect Tax from June 2009 to May 2022. Currently, Tareq is engaged as Tax Director for New Product Initiatives at Meta since June 2022. Tareq holds two LLB degrees, one in English and European Law from the University of Essex and another in European Law from Nijmegen.
