Taufeeq U. is currently a Research Scientist at Meta, focusing on machine learning, augmented reality, and virtual reality. Previously, Taufeeq held positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of South Florida, where responsibilities included assisting students in various computer science courses and grading assignments. Taufeeq's internship experience includes roles at Comcast, Visa, and PepsiCo, working on projects related to machine learning, natural language processing, and data science. Taufeeq holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from International Islamic University Chittagong, achieving a GPA of 3.85/4.00.
