Théophane Vallaeys

Théophane Vallaeys is currently pursuing a PhD in computer vision and generative models at Sorbonne Université, through a joint program with Meta. Previous experience includes a research internship at Meta, focused on neural compression for approximate large-scale retrieval, and another internship at FAIR, where research contributions were made to improve state-of-the-art compression results. Additional research internships were completed at Inria and the AutoML lab of Freiburg, concentrating on deep neural networks and Bayesian optimization techniques, respectively. Prior to these roles, Théophane worked as a developer at SAGA CORP, specializing in PHP backend development. Academic qualifications include a Baccalauréat from CPGE Faidherbe and a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
