Tom Bauer

Tom Bauer has extensive experience in embedded software engineering, holding key positions at notable organizations such as Sandia National Laboratories and Meta. At Sandia National Laboratories, Tom worked as a Member of Technical Staff and later as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, leading teams in firmware design and verification for low-power devices, including the development of IoT solutions and complex embedded hardware. Currently, Tom serves as the Embedded Software Engineer at Meta, focusing on software architecture and design for custom multicore SoCs, driver implementation, and debugging across multi-chip products. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of New Mexico and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
