Tom Elgin

Tom Elgin has a robust background in data science and power trading, with experience spanning multiple companies and roles. At DC Energy, Tom established the Australian power trading desk, generating a $2M annual profit, and improved the California electricity trading business. At Meta, Tom serves as a Staff Data Scientist and Tech Lead, focusing on machine learning models for augmented and virtual reality devices while also contributing to significant projects supporting emerging markets. Prior roles include data science management and web development, with a foundational education in Mathematics from Pomona College and a Master's in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
