Vikas Chandra

Vikas Chandra is an accomplished professional in the fields of machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Senior Director of AI at Meta, where responsibilities include leading research and engineering for computer vision and generative AI technologies. With extensive experience at Arm as Director of Applied ML, Vikas contributed to building efficient machine learning solutions while leading diverse research initiatives. Previous roles include Visiting Faculty at Stanford University and various technical positions at companies such as IBM and STMicroelectronics. Vikas holds a Ph.D. and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, along with a B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Additionally, Vikas is an active angel investor and advisor for disruptive AI startups.
