Vikas Kumar is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and management. Vikas began a career with an internship at Wipro, followed by a Data Engineer role at Mastercard from June 2016 to February 2019, where responsibilities evolved into a Senior Data Engineer and then Manager of Data Engineering at Mastercard Data & Services until August 2021. Vikas further contributed to the nonprofit sector as Director at WeDoGood from August 2021 to January 2024, promoting volunteerism in India. Currently, Vikas serves as a Data Engineer at Meta since October 2024. Additionally, Vikas participated as a Policy in Action Fellow with Young Leaders for Active Citizenship in April and May 2022, working on a research project for a Member of Parliament. Vikas holds a Bachelor’s Degree from IIT Roorkee, earned between 2012 and 2016.
