Wei Wang

Wei Wang has extensive experience in software engineering and research, particularly in the fields of electromagnetic modeling, computer vision, and machine learning. At Cadence Design Systems, Wei served as a Principal Software Engineer, where the development of the Clarity 3D Solver/EMX was accomplished. Following this role, Wei joined Meta as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on the creation of computer vision and machine learning pipelines for next-generation AR/VR devices at Reality Labs. Prior to these positions, Wei worked at Synopsys Inc as a Senior R&D Engineer, contributing to backend computational core engine development for IC Compiler 2 and PrimeTime, with a specialization in static timing analysis. Wei holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Science and Technology from Zhejiang University and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
