Wilson Chen

UX Research Assistant, Reality Labs

Wilson Chen is a graduate research assistant with a focus on human-centered design and engineering, currently working at Meta's Reality Labs. Previous research experience includes developing methods for analyzing election rumors at the University of Washington and qualitatively coding crisis-related TikTok videos for a study on citizen journalism. At Duo Security, Wilson designed user surveys to enhance mobile app usability for college users. Additionally, prior roles include a head teaching assistant at Georgia Tech and an IT intern at Humana, where responsibilities included improving AI chatbot error documentation and creating PowerBI dashboards. Wilson holds a Master of Science in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington and completed an undergraduate education with a 4.0 GPA at both Middleton High School and Hillsborough Community College.
