Xian P. is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in security and privacy solutions. Xian's professional journey began at Yahoo, where from June 2015 to October 2016, Xian developed a system to identify compromised accounts and phishing URLs using Pig and Oozie. Following that, Xian worked at Microsoft from October 2016 to December 2019, contributing to projects including a Speech Recognition service. Currently, Xian is part of the Meta Reality Labs Security and Privacy team since April 2020, leading a group of engineers focused on delivering security and privacy solutions for Facebook's VR and AR products. Xian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
