Xin Qian

Xin Qian currently serves as a Research Scientist at Meta, contributing to Facebook AI Applied Research within the AI Infrastructure team since November 2021. Prior experience includes an internship as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta in Summer 2020, and various internships focusing on trading and data science at companies such as Lingjun Investment, Ubiquant Investment, and PrinceTechs from 2015 to 2017. Xin Qian holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University (2017-2021) and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Peking University (2013-2017), also having participated as an exchange student in Statistics at The University of Hong Kong in 2015.
