Yanli Liu

Yanli Liu is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in machine learning and data science. Liu served as a Senior Research Scientist at OPPO from November 2020 to September 2023, receiving the 2022 Excellent Employee Award. Liu then undertook a role as Staff Research Scientist at SHEIN Technology LLC, where contributions to an AI-driven product review system generated significant daily business value and earned the 2024 Outstanding Employee Award. Currently, Liu is a Senior Research Engineer at Meta, involved in data curation for next-generation Llama models. Prior research experience includes a Summer Research Internship at UCLA, where Liu received the Best Presentation Award, and a Research Assistant position leading to recognition from the INFORMS Optimization Society.
