Ye Yuan

Ye Yuan has extensive experience in data science and machine learning, highlighted by participation in over 20 projects and competitions, including a machine learning bootcamp focused on credit card fraud detection and a Kaggle competition for box office revenue prediction. At Citigroup, Ye Yuan served as a Data Scientist contractor, applying machine learning techniques and developing natural language processing models. As a Software Engineer at Meta, responsibilities include leveraging machine learning for various applications. Academically, Ye Yuan holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics from Purdue University, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master's degree in Data Science from the same institution. Previous research roles involved advancements in CO2 capture technologies and the development of nanotechnology for solar cells.
