Yinan Wu

Yinan Wu is a highly skilled professional in the fields of lighting engineering and machine learning, with extensive experience in various roles. Yinan began as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and subsequently held positions as an Optical Engineer and Sr. Illumination Engineer at Acuity Brands from November 2014 to December 2021. Yinan further advanced to work at Meta as a Machine Learning Software Engineer, initially serving from December 2021 to January 2023 with a focus on machine learning model development for Instagram business integrity, data analysis, and system design. Currently, Yinan is engaged in video recommendation core ML at Meta since November 2023. Yinan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University, along with a Master's degree in Lighting from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
