Yiran Li is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in power architecture and systems engineering. Beginning a career as an Electrical Engineer at Sony Corporation, Yiran contributed to the design of innovative mobile products. Following this, Yiran enhanced expertise in low power engineering at Apple, leading power projects across various product lines, and developed power models for the Apple A-series SoCs. Subsequent roles included positions as a Power Architect at Google and as a Principal Platform Power Architect at NVIDIA, specializing in data center SoC power architecture and modeling. Currently serving as an SoC Power Architect at Meta since July 2025, Yiran's work focuses on optimizing power management for data center chips. Yiran holds a PhD in VLSI architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
