Yishen Cui

Yishen Cui is a highly skilled software engineer and data scientist with extensive experience in cloud storage, reliability modeling, and data processing. Yishen began the professional journey at Peking University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physics, followed by a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Virginia, focusing on Spin Torque Transfer Random Access Memory. At Veritas Technologies LLC, Yishen served as a Senior Software Engineer, enhancing cloud storage products and developing clustering models for appliance failure prevention. Following this, Yishen worked at WD as a Staff Engineer, where expertise in statistical modeling contributed to predicting future failures and improving response times. Yishen continued to advance skills at JLL as a Data Scientist and Software Developer, leading the development of data processing pipelines and recommendation models. Currently, Yishen serves as a Software Engineer at Meta, applying advanced technical knowledge to innovative projects.
