Yiwei Zhang

Yiwei Zhang has extensive experience in data science and credit risk modeling, with a career spanning over a decade. Starting as a Data Acquisition and Processing Intern at Catalist in 2012, Yiwei progressed to significant roles including Vice President of Credit Risk Modeling at Bank of America and Vice President of Anti-Money Laundering Modeling at PNC. Following these positions, Yiwei served as a Data Science Manager at Visa before transitioning to TikTok as a Data Scientist focused on monetization. Since June 2022, Yiwei has been a Data Scientist at Meta. Academic achievements include a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Notably, Yiwei contributed to the National Weather Service by designing an optimization algorithm for predicting hazardous weather events.
