Yu Huang

Yu Huang is a Senior Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Lead at Meta, where responsibilities include leading the vision and strategy for the Facebook App ads experience and driving innovation in personalization and GenAI/LLM empowered ads. Yu has successfully overseen the development of video advertiser products, contributing to the creation of the billion-dollar Video Creation Kit within one year. Additionally, Yu has tech-led multiple features for Facebook Events, enhancing its user engagement to over 600 million monthly active users. Prior experience includes roles at Yahoo! as a Software Development Engineer, Huawei as a Software Engineer Intern, and HSBC as a Software Engineer. Yu holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Columbia Engineering.
