Yuhui Shi

Yuhui Shi is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in distributed model training, optimization, and GPU kernel development at Meta, where employment began in September 2023. Previously, Yuhui contributed to SQL parsing and LLM integration at MindsDB and co-founded Convect AI, focused on democratizing data-driven decision applications. Prior roles include research scientist positions at Facebook, developing enterprise AI infrastructure, and serving as a senior algorithm engineer at JD.COM, specializing in AutoML and supply chain models. Yuhui’s career began as a senior operations research consultant at Sabre Corporation and an operations research scientist at Ford Motor Company. Yuhui holds a PhD in Operations Research and a Graduate Certificate in Data Science from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree from Fudan University.
