Zhong Meng is a Staff Research Scientist at Meta Superintelligence Labs, where their research centers on automatic speech recognition (ASR), including end-to-end ASR and natural language processing. They contributed to a multichannel ASR system that placed third in the CHiME-4 noise-robust ASR challenge in 2016 and had their adversarial domain adaptation work nominated for the Best Paper Award at the IEEE ASRU Workshop in 2017. Zhong holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, where they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant. Their previous roles include Senior Research Scientist at Google DeepMind and Senior Applied Scientist at Microsoft. Zhong is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).
