Juan Montoya

Juan Montoya has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles. Juan is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Rokk3r, where they lead a team in taking concepts from idea to execution. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Cobuild Officer and COO at Rokk3r, where they were responsible for validating new business opportunities, developing digital products, and defining go-to-market strategies. Juan also has experience as a Managing Director and Co-Founder at Rokk3r Labs, where they helped companies innovate and disrupt their industries. Additionally, they have worked as a Founder and Partner at Meta4 Capital and Founding Partner/Interim COO at Rokk3rFuel EXO. Before entering the entrepreneurial space, Juan worked as an Independent Consultant, assisting clients in improving internal processes and analytics. Juan also served as a Manager at FI Consulting, contributing to the firm's management and strategic decision-making efforts. Early in their career, Juan worked at Global Insight in positions of increasing responsibility, managing consulting projects and conducting economic research.

Juan Montoya attended Colegio Nueva Granada from 1983 to 1997, where they completed their high school education. Juan then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Economics at Suffolk University from 1998 to 2001. After a gap of a few years, they furthered their education by completing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Public Policy, International Commerce at George Mason University from 2004 to 2006.
