Anton Kostenko

Anton Kostenko has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Anton is currently working as a DevOps Engineer (Metabase Cloud) at Metabase, where they have initiated and successfully completed various projects, including the migration of multi-region multi-environment cloud infrastructure to Kubernetes, resulting in cost reduction, better network management, increased stability, and infrastructure unification. Prior to this, Anton worked as a Principal DevOps/SRE Engineer at F5 Networks from December 2018 to September 2021. Anton was responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of systems and played a key role in implementing DevOps practices. Before F5 Networks, Anton worked at EPAM Systems as a Lead System Engineer, where they led a team of 12 engineers and worked on projects based on microservices using technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Java, SpringCloud, and Docker. Anton also has experience as a DevOps Engineer at Gaijin Entertainment, where they supported infrastructure for game projects and held co-positions as a technical manager and integration engineer. Alongside that, Anton has worked in various other roles, including Cloud DevOps Engineer at ClusterK, Development IT Engineer (cloud solutions) at Glu Mobile, Junior System Administrator at Yandex, Senior Unix System Administrator at DV Technology LLC, and System Administrator at MTS Group. In these roles, they acquired skills in server setup and maintenance, network administration, and implementation of various technologies and tools.

Anton Kostenko has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Administration of Information Systems from the University "Sinergiya," which they obtained between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Engineer's degree in Mathematical and Software Support of Computer Systems from Komsomolsk-on-Amur State Technical University (KnASTU) between 2006 and 2008. In addition to their formal education, Anton has obtained several certifications, including "Reliable Cloud Infrastructure: Design and Process," "Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization," "Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Containers and Services," "Elastic Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation," "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services," "Essential Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation," and "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure" from Coursera in 2018.
