Eva Gladek

Founder and CEO at Metabolic

Eva Gladek is the Founder and CEO of Metabolic, an ecosystem of organizations focused on transitioning the global economy to a sustainable state. Eva advises governments, businesses, and NGOs on adapting to a changing global context and developing disruptive solutions. Eva is also a Board Member and Co-Founder of Dayrize.com, a consumer marketplace for sustainable products. Eva has held various roles, including Expert and Strategist at Circle Economy, Technical Director at Except Integrated Sustainability, and Writer and Researcher at the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy. Additionally, Eva has worked as a Project Manager at the Green Electronics Council and as a Research Assistant at GreenBlue. Eva started their career as an Associate Producer and Writer at ScienCentral News and as a Lab Technician at the Marine Biological Laboratory. Eva's experience also includes working as a Production Assistant at Camera Planet for the documentary "A Southern Town."

Eva Gladek completed their education starting from 1989 to 2001 at the United Nations International School (UNIS), where they obtained an IB diploma. Eva then attended Amherst College from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology. In 2004, they also participated in the Williams-Mystic program at Williams College. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) degree at Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, specializing in Industrial Ecology. Additionally, during the same period, they also studied Industrial Environmental Management (Industrial Ecology) at Yale University.
