Chuck Haaser has over 40 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Chuck started their career as a Lieutenant in the US Navy from 1978 to 1982. After that, they worked as a Staff Auditor at Price Waterhouse LLP from 1984 to 1986. Chuck then joined ISI Systems as the Director of Finance from 1986 to 1997. Haaser served as the Controller at Technical Communications Corporation in 1997 and then moved to Abiomed, where they held the position of Corporate Controller and Acting CFO from 1998 to 2006. Chuck subsequently worked at Indevus Pharmaceuticals as the Controller for M&A and Compliance from 2006 to 2008. Haaser's most recent role was as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Yield10 Bioscience, starting in 2008.
Chuck Haaser completed their education in a chronological manner. Chuck first attended the University of Notre Dame from 1974 to 1978, where they earned a BBA degree with a field of study in Finance. Following this, they pursued an MBA degree with a field of study in Accounting from Northeastern University, which they successfully completed from 1982 to 1984. Later on, Haaser enrolled at Bentley University to pursue a master's degree in Taxation (MST) and graduated from there in 1997. In May 1997, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
