Joey Gardner is a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Metabolon, Inc. with a background in computational biology and data science. With experience in various roles at companies like General Metabolics, LLC and Rheos Medicines, Joey has expertise in developing data pipelines, executing research projects, and optimizing models for metabolic description in inflammatory diseases. With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, Joey has a strong foundation in genetic and populations level research to determine biological responses to environmental changes.
