Katrin Koller's work experience begins with their role as a Graphic Designer apprentice at Brändle Druck AG from July 2002 to July 2006. Katrin then worked at PwC as an Intern Advisory Business Development from April 2012 to September 2012 and as an Assistant Financial Services from October 2012 to August 2013.
In 2013, they joined the Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. as a Project and Operational Manager from September 2013 to June 2014.
From 2009 to 2013, Koller worked at the University of Zurich, first as an Assistant to the Chair of Macroeconomics from October 2009 to June 2011, and then as a Teaching Assistant for microeconomics, macroeconomics, and mathematics from September 2010 to December 2013.
Starting in 2015, they joined Accenture DACH, where they held various roles including Capital Markets Analyst from October 2015 to November 2016, Capital Markets Consultant from December 2016 to May 2018, Capital Markets Manager with a focus on Digital Assets, Tokenization, and CBDC from June 2018 to November 2020, and a Technology Innovation Strategy Senior Manager, specializing in Digital Assets, Tokenization, and CBDC from December 2020 to February 2023.
In 2020, Koller also became a Member of the DLT Working Group at ISSA - Intl Securities Services Association, where they continue to hold a position.
Katrin became a Member of Expert Community in DLT and Blockchain at digitalswitzerland in July 2021 until February 2023.
In 2022, Koller became a Board Member at ECON Alumni UZH, and in 2023, they began their current role as the Global Head Advisory at Metaco. Additionally, in the same year, they also became a Guest Lecturer, CAS Blockchain, and Finance at HEG.
Katrin Koller started their education in 2006 at GBS Gewerbliches Berufs- und Weiterbildungszentrum St. Gallen, where they completed a Professional baccalaureate with a focus on the technical option. Katrin then pursued further studies at ISME St.Gallen/Sargans in 2007, completing a Passerelle program. In 2008, they enrolled at the University of Zurich and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration in 2012. During their undergraduate studies, they also had a short-term academic experience at UNSW in 2011. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master of Arts in Economics and Business Administration at the University of Zurich from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, in 2014, they briefly attended Universidad de Los Andes for their master's degree in Economics and Business Administration.
