Tiaan Bakkes

Tiaan Bakkes is an experienced Technology Architect currently employed at Metacom since April 2016, focusing on the implementation and enhancement of IT solutions to address business challenges. Previously, Tiaan worked at Visa Cape Town from September 2009 to March 2016, holding positions as Platform Service Manager and Software Architect, where responsibilities included platform design and integration. Earlier experience includes senior development and architectural roles at Jeshurun Consulting and Fundamo, working on secure banking systems and mobile money platforms. Tiaan began the career as a Senior Developer at Software Futures, contributing to the development of the Fundamo Mobile Money platform. Tiaan holds an Information Technology Diploma in Software Development from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
