Anni Mäkitalo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Anni started their career as a Private Banking Assistant at Nordea in 2016, where they handled daily tasks and participated in setting up team routines and processes. In 2018, they worked as a Project Secretary for the PISA study at the University of Jyväskylä, grading and coding financial literacy data. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Marketing & Communications Specialist at Pemamek, followed by a role as a Marketing Assistant at Basketball Finland. In 2021, they joined Women in Tech Finland as a Marketing & Community Manager, and eventually became the Head of Marketing & Community. Currently, as of February 2023, they are employed at Metacore as a Partnerships & Community Manager. Prior to their professional career, Anni also had a successful career as a Professional Basketball Player from 2011 to 2022.
