David Milward

David Milward has over 35 years of work experience. In 2018, they began their role as Director at METADATAWORKS, a company that specializes in data driven technology. In 2019, they became the UK Delegate ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 32/WG 2. From 2011 to 2018, they were the Director of Metadata Consulting Limited. From 2004 to 2011, they were a Senior Scientist at NATO C3 Agency, where they worked on requirements analysis, standards design, coding, testing, support, purchasing and cost analysis, Systems Design and Engineering and project management. From 1994 to 2004, they were an IT Consultant at Genie Solutions Ltd. From 1985 to 1994, they were the Managing Director at Furrytails Ltd, where they built the company up from scratch to a turnover of over $3m.

David Milward is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, which is expected to be completed in 2022. In 2000, they earned an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford. From 1981 to 1984, they completed a BSc in Control, Systems and Instrumentation Engineering at City, University of London. No additional certifications have been listed.
