Axel Kummer has extensive experience in leadership roles within the IT and consulting sectors, currently serving as COO and Geschäftsführer at metafinanz Informationssysteme GmbH since December 1993. Under Axel Kummer's direction, the company underwent a successful agile transformation in 2018, evolving into a decentralized network organization with over 900 employees and achieving approximately 200 million EUR in revenue. Previous roles include Prokurist, where Axel Kummer was responsible for the growth of Professional Services, and Project Manager, where the development of a comprehensive outbound service system for Allianz was achieved. Axel Kummer began his career at sd&m AG as a Werkstudent, focusing on software reengineering insights. Axel Kummer holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Technical Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University.
