Betty Maes is a seasoned professional in product development and chemical engineering with extensive experience in the health and food sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Product Development Manager at Metagenics since May 2024, Betty previously held various roles at Metagenics Europe from February 2017, including Product Development Project Manager and Formulation Specialist. Prior experience includes positions at MUTOH Belgium nv as a Chemical Engineer, Hogeschool VIVES as an Assistant Researcher, and previous roles in the laboratory departments at Eurofins Food, Feed & Water Benelux and Ajinomoto OmniChem. Betty holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering - Chemistry from Ghent University, a Food Product Developer certification from Syntra West, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven', Gent.
