Research Director, Calm Technology Institute

Amber Case is the Founder of the Calm Tech Institute, which focuses on creating standards for harmonious human-tech interactions, and serves as the Research Director for the Metagovernance Project, promoting Calm Tech Principles. Currently a Board Member at Superset, Amber advocates for user control over personal data. As a Strategic Advisor at mui Lab, Inc., efforts include fostering harmony between technology, people, and nature. With over a decade of consulting experience at MARVELOUS LABS, Amber has also co-founded DAO DAO and contributed as a Strategic Advisor for Puma Browser and Unlock Inc. Previous roles include Research Fellow at Mozilla and the Institute for the Future, focusing on future analytics and AI. Amber holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology from Lewis & Clark College.
