Kasun Liyanage

Kasun Liyanage has work experience as a Technical Lead in Engine R&D at MetaGravity since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at LiveRoom from 2019 to 2022, and as a Software Engineer at iNtellect from 2016 to 2019. kasun also worked as a Software Engineer at CodeGen International from 2015 to 2016. Kasun's earlier experience includes being an Electrical and Information Engineering Undergraduate at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna from 2010 to 2015, a Software Engineer at iScientia Ltd in 2014, and a trineer at Brandix in 2012.

Kasun Liyanage completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Information engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ruhuna, from 2010 to 2014. Before that, from 1996 to 2009, Kasun attended Rahula College Matara, Telijjawila Central College, and Siddhartha College Weligama, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned during that time. Kasun also obtained additional certifications in various subjects from Coursera, including Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Primitives and Decentralized Finance Infrastructure in 2022, Algorithms for DNA Sequencing and Introduction to Genomic Technologies in 2021, and Artificial Intelligence Planning in 2014, as well as Machine Learning in 2013.
