Tommy Tran

Tommy Tran is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and venture partnership. Currently serving as Managing Partner at Compute Ventures since March 2021 and Co-Founder of Ashlar since September 2018, Tommy also holds mentoring responsibilities at Metagrove Ventures and is a Limited Partner at Collider Ventures and Cluster Capital. Previously, from August 2013 to March 2018, Tommy worked as a Staff Software Engineer at OakGate Technology, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining complex device drivers and overseeing low-level code repositories. Tommy Tran earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
