Naga R Samineni

Naga R Samineni is a co-founder of MetaKeep, a company focused on developing cryptographic infrastructure for Web 3.1, and has served as a founding member of the On Deck Founder Fellowship since September 2021. Previously, Naga was a senior software engineer at Facebook, where contributions included pivotal work on WhatsApp Payments and Diem, launching WhatsApp Pay in emerging markets. Naga also held a senior software engineering role at Twitter, enhancing security measures and optimizing systems architecture. Earlier experiences include significant engineering roles at Microsoft, where Naga contributed to modernizing core Microsoft Office libraries and developing peer-to-peer networking solutions, and at IBM, where Naga invented algorithms to improve data center networking efficiency. Naga holds multiple master's degrees in Mathematics and HCI from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and USC Viterbi School of Engineering, and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
