Gary Schare

Gary Schare has an extensive and diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Gary is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Metal Men, where they are leading the technology transformation of a men's group. Prior to this, Gary was the Executive Director of Disinfo Academy, a non-profit organization focused on combatting disinformation.

Before their current roles, Gary held various leadership positions, such as the Principal Product Manager for Al Jazeera Media Network, President of Browsium, Inc., and VP of Product Marketing at MOD Systems. Gary also worked at Microsoft for many years, serving as the Director of Product Management for different divisions including Windows 7 Hardware Ecosystem, Windows Client & Internet Explorer, and Windows Media Technologies.

Gary's career began at Apple as a Product Line Manager for network operating systems and previously worked at Fretlight Guitar, International Business Software, and Stanford Telecom.

Gary Schare has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Gary also holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
