Kurt Schrom

Kurt Schrom is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in operational leadership and organizational change management. Serving as Chief Executive Officer at Metal Services of Blooming Prairie since March 2020, Kurt previously held key positions at Caterpillar Inc., including Master Black Belt in the Forest Products Division, where Kurt effectively implemented Six Sigma initiatives. Notable roles at Caterpillar also included Facility Manager at LaGrange, Georgia, and Owatonna, Minnesota, where Kurt drove lean transformations and integration processes post-acquisition. Prior to Caterpillar, Kurt was the Operations Manager for Blount Forestry, where strategic leadership led to significant improvements in quality and cost efficiency. Kurt holds a degree from Concordia University-St. Paul.
