Senior Optical Metrology Engineer at Metalenz

Andrew DiBiasio has a diverse work experience. Andrew began their career at Camp Squanto in 2013 as a Lifeguard, where they taught swimming, sailing, and rowing. In 2014, they worked as Handicraft Staff at Camp Squanto and in 2015, they were a Museum Assistant, running the Casoni Scouting Museum and giving tours and teaching classes. In 2015, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they conducted research under Dr. Wertz in the super resolution microscopy lab group, utilizing dark field microscopy and high powered lasers to analyse plasmonic nano-particles. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant (REU) at Lehigh University, computationally modelling ferroelectric crystals. Since 2020, they have been working at metalenz, first as an Optical Instrumentation Software Engineer and then as a Senior Optical Metrology Engineer.

Andrew DiBiasio attended Medway High School from 2011 to 2015. Andrew then attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics & Mathematics. Andrew continued their studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 2019 with a Master of Science in Physics.
