Matthias Rey

Matthias Rey currently serves as the CEO and Head of Legal at Metall Zug AG since August 2014. Prior experience includes positions as an Associate at Homburger in 2014, Legal Counsel at Nobel Biocare from 2010 to 2013, and Junior Associate at Homburger from 2008 to 2009. Matthias Rey also held the role of Academic Assistant for Private Law at the University of Bern from 2003 to 2008, where responsibilities included serving as President of the Tutors Commission. In addition, experience in administration quality management was gained at pharmaSuisse from 2003 to 2005. Matthias Rey holds an Executive MBA from IMD, completed in 2022, and was admitted to the Zurich Bar after studying at the Zurich Cantonal High Court. Academic achievements include a Dr. iur. (PhD) in Private Law with a focus on Intellectual Property and a Licentiate degree in Law from the University of Bern.
