Melissa Martinez

Melissa Martinez is the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer at MetalTek International, beginning in April 2024, where the focus is on manufacturing critical metal components for demanding applications. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Product & Process Technology at ATI - Allegheny Technologies Incorporated from March 2006 to April 2024, leading innovation management, technology development, and strategic positioning efforts. Additional roles at ATI include Vice President of New Product & Process Development and Research Metallurgist, where significant contributions to titanium alloys for aerospace were made. Melissa also held positions in NextGenAlloys, a joint venture with GE Aviation, serving as General Manager and Board Member. Academic achievements include an SB in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MS in Polymer Science & Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
