Justin Chong

Justin Chong has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Computer Scientist at Netcraft in 2019. Here, they worked on improving an autonomous phish classifier by implementing optimizations in image processing and memory allocation modules. Additionally, they extended classification heuristics to cover unique webpage elements.

In 2020, Justin joined Emotech LTD as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of software systems. Later in the same year, they joined Aival as a Machine Learning Researcher, focusing on machine learning research and development.

In November 2021, Justin was promoted to the position of Technical Lead at Aival, where they currently hold the role.

Justin Chong completed their A Levels from Epsom College in Malaysia between 2015 and 2017. During this time, their field of study included Computing, Economics, Government and Politics, and Further Mathematics. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering - MEng degree in Computing and Artificial Intelligence at Imperial College London from 2017 to 2021.
