Benedict Pesa

Benedict holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines, a private university in Manila. Prior to that, Benedict studied electronic engineering for a degree in Aviation Electronics & Communication Engineer at PATTS College of Aeronautics (Philippine Air Transport and Training Services).

Ben is also certified as an Associate Software Engineer from Accenture Academy. Ben worked for Accenture for three years as a Software Engineer and Performance Team Test Coordinator, working solely with its client, American Express.

With over 16 years of experience in both Information Technology and Manufacturing, Benedict’s global IT career began at Maybank, Malaysia’s leading bank and fifth top bank brand in Asean. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Ben spearheaded technological system enhancements for credit card systems. Ben’s work yielded exceptional results for Maybank by significantly cutting processing time and costs as a Programmer Analyst & IT Consultant.

Prior to leaving Asia, Ben served for two years doing voluntary missionary service in the Philippines. Ben now lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife and daughter, where he is the Director of IT and System Administrator for World Heritage Solutions.
