Peter Birch

Peter Birch has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the healthcare and technology industries. Peter is the CEO and Founder of Talking HealthTech, a global media and advisory company that fosters collaboration and engagement in the healthcare industry. Peter has also served as the NSW Facilitator for the Australian Clinical Entrepreneurs Program, mentoring and coaching healthcare professionals in driving innovation in the healthcare system.

As a Company Director and General Manager for MetaOptima Technology Inc., Peter has played a crucial role in strategically overseeing the growth and expansion of the company in the Asia Pacific market. Peter has also been involved in the development of groundbreaking digital health solutions such as MoleScope and DermEngine.

Peter has held positions as a Company Director for the Medical Software Industry Association, representing the interests of the Australian commercial software industry in the healthcare sector. Peter has also served as the General Manager of MediRecords, a cloud-based clinical and practice management solution for healthcare providers.

Prior to these roles, Peter has held leadership positions at Sonic HealthPlus, Medibank, and International SOS. Peter'sresponsibilities in these roles included overseeing clinic operations, business performance management, operational workflow redevelopment, and building strategic partnerships.

Peter Birch has a diverse education history. Peter obtained a High School Certificate from Trinity Grammar School, although the start and end years are not specified. In 2002, they earned a Diploma in Advertising from Macleay College. Peter then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from Macquarie Business School from 2008 to 2012. Peter continued their education by completing the Professional Level at CPA Australia from 2014 to 2019.

Additionally, Peter has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a Justice of the Peace (NSW) through the Department of Justice and Attorney General.
