Sebastian Schmidt

Sebastian Schmidt is an experienced technology executive currently serving as CEO at metaphacts GmbH since May 2019, where previous roles included Co-CEO and VP of Product and Business Development. Prior experience includes senior leadership positions at Virtustream as Senior Director of Software Engineering and Director of Software Product Management, as well as an Advisory SDS Specialist Systems Engineer at EMC, focusing on Software Defined Solutions, DevOps, and emerging technologies. Earlier in their career, Sebastian was a Lead Solution Architect at fluid Operations, overseeing cloud solution design and implementation, and served as the Founder of cfa-computing, providing consulting services primarily in the transport and logistics sector. Sebastian holds a Diploma in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and attended the University of Sydney.
