Katherine Norwood is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and biomedical fields. Currently serving as Scientist II at Metaphore Biotechnologies since May 2023, Katherine previously held positions as Senior Scientist at Sanofi and Computational Biologist at RCH Solutions. Katherine's academic background includes a PhD in Bioinformatics from Boston University, where doctoral research focused on Bayesian statistical methods and machine learning algorithms for immunoglobulin repertoire analysis. Additional experience includes teaching assistantship for graduate-level courses, research assistant roles involving cancer cell lines and computational research in protein self-associations, and a summer internship in human resources. Katherine holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cellular Biology, with a minor in Mathematics from the University of New Hampshire.
