Jen Huang

Jen Huang has over 13 years of work experience in the software engineering and financial software development fields. Jen began their career in 2008 as a Financial Software Development Intern at Bloomberg. In 2009, they were promoted to Financial Software Developer at Bloomberg. In 2011, they joined HubSpot as a Senior Software Engineer - Contacts Backend, where they improved reliability and speed of HubSpot's contacts backend. Jen was later promoted to Tech Lead - CRM Backend, where they led the CRM backend team through a period of scaling and reliability challenges. Jen was then promoted to Tech Lead - HubSpot Sales Product, where they led the team that built out the initial version of HubSpot Sales. Finally, they were promoted to Principal Tech Lead - Automation Platform. In 2022, they joined Metaplane as a Founding Engineer.

Jen Huang attended Dartmouth College from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Digital Arts.
