Doug Schmidt

Doug Schmidt serves as the Chief Information & Technology Officer at PayCargo, LLC, leading global technology and product initiatives for a rapidly growing digital payments network in air and sea cargo shipments. Additionally, Doug is the Chief Executive Officer of Metaprise, an innovative platform aimed at connecting startup communities globally. Previous roles include CEO Advisor at Soom Inc., where expertise was provided for a digital healthcare platform, and member of several advisory boards, including Edison Partners and Mayfield Fund. Doug's earlier career includes serving as CIO for Dentsu Aegis Network, where technology leadership was provided for the Americas, along with advisory roles in K-12 education and social media startups. Doug holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Siena College.
